1. GENERAL THESES
1.1. BRICS ART GAMES (hereinafter referred to as the Games) are held in accordance with the Regulations on holding the 1st BRICS ART GAMES (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations).
1.2. The founder and main organizer of the Award is the Association of Figures of Children's Creativity (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer).
1.3. The Games are held with the aim of promoting the development of public diplomacy from a young age, the development of multilateral cultural cooperation, the establishment of cultural exchange, and the mutual enrichment of the cultures of the peoples of the BRICS member countries.
1.4. The main objectives of the Games are:
- exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of culture, art and creativity;
- assistance in preserving and popularizing national cultural traditions, cultural heritage and creative heritage of Russia;
- formation of a common identity and creation of cultural cooperation based on mutual respect and understanding;
- popularization of children's and youth creativity;
- creation of conditions for the realization of the creative potential of children and youth;
- promotion of a healthy and cultural lifestyle.
1.5. Information about the Games is posted on the official website of the Games www.bricsartgames.ru (hereinafter referred to as the Website).
1.6. The Organizer has the right to make any changes and additions to this regulation, communicating them by publishing them on the Website.
1.7. Terminology used:
Official application - an official document of the established form.
A distinction is made between:
Preliminary application - an electronic form on the Website. It is filled out at the stage of the preliminary correspondence stage and is automatically sent to the official email of the Organizer.
Original application - an electronic document. Sent after the official invitation based on the results of the Preliminary Application review
Participant – a member of the team/performer, a team submitted to the Games in the Original Application.
Finalist – a Participant who has passed the selection stage and, based on the results of the expert assessment, is included in the short list of 10 contenders for the title of the Games winner.
Winner – a Finalist who, based on the results of the expert assessment, is included in the top three in each nomination
Games Events (hereinafter referred to as the Events):
- Preliminary (correspondence) selection stage;
- Final (face-to-face) stage;
- Gala concert and official award ceremony for the Winners.
- Competitions (face-to-face/correspondence), additional events organized within the framework of some nominations (hereinafter referred to as the Competitions);
Gala Concert – A stage performance (production) on a stage with spectators, with a professionally developed script, which uses the plot(s) of famous fairy tales of the world, works of famous authors, historical plots with fictional heroes, productions that help to reveal the goals and objectives of the Games, demonstrating through acting and script text the importance of universally recognized human values: patriotism and love for the Fatherland, will power, love, loyalty, family values, etc. The Gala Concert must use performances of the Finalists and Winners of the Games, whose repertoire corresponds to the script concept of the Gala Concert, and may also involve performances by famous cultural and artistic figures, artists of various genres, actors and musicians.
The Award Ceremony of the Games winners (hereinafter referred to as the Ceremony) is the official closing ceremony of the Games, held to recognize and consolidate the creative achievements of children and youth. The Ceremony is held in a formal setting by Games officials with the participation of famous figures in art and culture. The Finalists of the Games are invited to the Ceremony, the names of the Winners of the Games are announced, and the Games awards are presented.
2. MANAGEMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE GAMES
2.1. General management of the organization of the Games is carried out by the Organizing Committee of the Games (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee).
2.2. The board of the Organizing Committee and its Chairman are approved by the founders of the Games.
2.3. Functions of the Organizing Committee of the Games:
- Perform organizational and technical work on the preparation and holding of the Games;
- Process applications and accompanying documents for compliance with the requirements specified in this Regulation;
- Provide organizational and logistical support for the activities of the Organizing Committee;
- Maintain records management on the organization and holding of the Games;
- Organize the ceremonial presentation of awards to the winners of the Games;
- Provide information support for the Games;
- To inform the public of these Regulations, the deadlines for accepting applications, selecting candidates, announcing the results and presenting awards, as well as information on the time, place, awarding regulations and other information about the Games;
- To resolve other organizational, financial and technical issues related to the organization of the Games.
2.4. The decisions of the Organizing Committee are taken by a majority vote of the members of the Organizing Committee present at the meeting, provided that more than half of the members of the Organizing Committee are present at the meeting of the Organizing Committee.
2.5. The Organizer is responsible for organizing and holding the Games.
2.6. The Organizer is responsible for organizing, holding and monitoring the fulfillment of its obligations during the holding of the Events of the Games and the compliance of the format of the events with the goals and objectives of the Games.
3. REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS AND TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
3.1. Self-nominated candidates and young artists teams of general education institutions, educational centers, colleges, cadet corps, sports and military-patriotic societies, and other organizations may apply for participation in the Award.
3.2. Participants must be at least 8 and no more than 18 full years old as of December 31, 2024.
3.3. To participate, you must fill out a Preliminary Application on the Website.
3.4. Each Original Application is accompanied by a description of the participant's activities.
4. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
4.1. Participation in the Games is free at all stages and in all Events of the Games.
4.2. The expenses for organizing and holding all stages and Events of the Games are borne by the Organizer.
4.3. Payment for travel of Participants, Finalists and Winners to the venue of all stages and Events of the Games, expenses for food, hotel accommodation, transfer and other expenses during the Games are covered by the participant himself.
5. STAGES, TIME AND DURATION OF THE GAMES
5.1. The Games are held in three stages:
- Preliminary (correspondence) selection stage - held from 01.11.2024 to 28.02.25.
- Final (face-to-face) stage - held during the period and at the address previously agreed upon by the Organizer of the Games. Notification of the dates and venue shall be sent to the participants no later than one month before the date of the event.
- Award Ceremony
5.2. A shortlist of 10 Finalists in each nomination is formed from the participants of the correspondence or face-to-face stage (depending on the nomination).
5.3. All Finalists are invited to the Award Ceremony. The date and venue of the Gala Concert and the Award Ceremony for the Winners will be announced no later than 3 months before the date of the event.
5.4. The dates of the Competitions within the nominations are published in the regulations on the Competition pages on the Site. The finalists of the Competitions are invited to the Award Ceremony, where the Winners in each nomination will be announced.
5.5. The Organizers reserve the right to change the number of stages by publishing the relevant information on the Site.
6. GAME NOMINATIONS
6.1. Participants can perform a repertoire related to the culture of the country they represent, as well as to the culture of any of the BRICS countries.
6.2. Game nominations:
- Vocals (academic, pop, folk, folklore, ethnic).
- Choreography (classical, modern, folk, folk-stylized dance, historical folk dance, pop dance, dance show, free flex).
- Instrumental genre (orchestras, instrumental ensembles, solo instrumentalists).
- Theatrical art and artistic word (dramatic performance, puppet show, musical performance (little opera, vaudeville, operetta, musical), choreographic or dance-plastic performance, pantomime performance, mono-performance (one man play), literary-musical or literary-dramatic composition, ethno-theatre (reconstruction of authentic folk rituals and holidays, fairy tales of the peoples of the Russian Federation, soloists and ensembles of readers)
- Original genre (aerial gymnastics, equilibristics, athletics, juggling, illusion, hula-hoops, roller skaters and cyclists, skipping ropes, diabolo, playing with lasso and whips, spinning plates, oriental games, etc.)
- Artistic creativity (fine art, painting, graphics) Topic: Nature and architecture of the BRICS countries
- Fashion (sketch competition)
- Art in sports (figure skating, gymnastics, ballroom dancing, other sports related to the creation of an artistic image)
6.3. The organizers reserve the right to change the number of nominations by publishing the relevant information on the Site
7. SUMMARISING THE RESULTS
7.1. The competitive selection of the Finalists and Winners of the Games is carried out by the Expert Council of the Games.
7.2. Based on the results of the assessments of the Expert Council, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Council forms the lists of Finalists and Winners of the Games
8. EVALUATION CRITERIA
8.1. The main evaluation criteria in the nominations:
- Vocals: the level of artistic performance, the level of mastery of technical vocal techniques, theatrical performance and culture; compliance of the repertoire with the folk traditions of the region represented by the participant and the age of the nominee, costume, purity of intonation, mastery of vocal technique, mastery of stylistic features, musicality and artistry.
- Choreography: level of performing skills, originality of choreographer's ideas, correspondence of the material to the national character, color and features of the presented region, as well as performing skills and age of the participants, degree of disclosure of the artistic image and the intended idea of the dance, stage design (costumes, props), musicality and artistry.
- Instrumental genre: level of artistic performance, technical skill and mastery of stylistic features.
- Theatrical art and artistic word: integrity of the performance (idea, director's embodiment, acting, musical accompaniment, artistic and staging design), ideological content of the work, features of its artistic form, author's concept, means of artistic expression of the performance, performing skills, scenery and costumes, careful attitude to the literary source, correspondence of the chosen repertoire to the age of the performers.
- Original genre: performing skills, artistry, complexity of the trick repertoire, dramaturgy (composition of the number, musical accompaniment, stage design (costumes, props), originality, innovation, musicality and artistry.
- Artistic creativity: originality of concept, skill and artistry of execution, compliance with the given theme.
- Fashion: the sketch submitted to the Competition can be made in any technique, in color, with a description of the model, made in a traditional solution or according to the latest fashion trends, bearing a bold look, a creative color scheme, new forms, with the obligatory use of national costume, elements of cut or decor and must be accompanied by a description and justification for the use of its elements.
- Art in sports: level of performing skills, originality of concept, skill and artistry of execution, stage design (costumes, props), compliance with the age of the performers.
9. AWARDING
9.1. All Participants of the Games will be awarded an electronic certificate of participation. The certificate of participation in the Games will be sent to the participant's e-mail within a month after the date of the Awards Ceremony of the Games.
9.2. All Finalists included in the short list of each nomination will be awarded gold medals with the Games symbols and certificates of winners of the Games. The awarding will take place at the award ceremony of the Games.
9.3. The awarding of the finalists and winners of the Competitions will take place at the award ceremony of the Games. Information about the prizes and awards will be published in the regulations on the Competition pages on the Website.
10. EXPERT COUNCIL
10.1. The Expert Council is an expert body of the Games and is formed by the Organizer from recognized authoritative specialists in the field of children's creativity, media personalities, cultural and artistic figures, organizations, state and municipal institutions.
10.2. Powers of the Expert Council of the Games:
- Participate in the meetings of the Expert Council of the Games;
- Make proposals and recommendations on the organization and holding of the Games;
- Propose (nominate) candidates for participation in the Games;
- Assess the materials submitted by the Participants;
- Participate in the Events held within the framework of the Games;
- Participate in the award ceremony of the Winners.
10.3. The Expert Council of the Games:
- determines the Finalists and Winners in each nomination
- determines the Finalists and Winners who will take part in the Gala Concert, together with the Chief Director of the Award Ceremony.
10.4 The meetings of the Expert Council are closed.
10.5 The decisions of the Expert Council are final and are not subject to revision.
10.6 The procedure for the work of the Expert Council (the assessment by the experts) is determined by the Organizer.
11. ENSURING SECURITY OF THE PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS
11.1. When holding the Games Events, the Organizers must ensure that the participants comply with safety and fire safety requirements.
11.2. All materials and equipment used in the preparation of the Events must meet all safety requirements and have the appropriate certificates.
11.3. The Organizers of the Events are obliged to comply with all legal requirements of law enforcement officers and the administration, according to their official duties.
11.4. Security services must meet the requirements of quality, life and health safety, sanitary norms and rules, state standards, licensing requirements and other norms or requirements, if such requirements are imposed by the current legislation of the city of Moscow and the Russian Federation.
12. AGREEMENT
12.1. By submitting the Official Application, the Participant confirms that he/she has read the Regulations of the Games, the conditions of participation and will accept the decisions of the Expert Council as final.
12.2. The Participant and/or his/her legal representative have read and agree that he/she bears full legal responsibility for the information provided in the Official Application.
12.3. The Participant permits the use of his/her provided personal data within the limits established by the current legislation of the Russian Federation, including permission to use photo and video materials on the Internet.
12.4. The Participant guarantees that all information provided to the Organizers does not violate the rights of third parties. The Organizer is not responsible for possible claims of third parties for violation of copyright and other rights to the materials submitted by the Participant. Such claims are settled by the Participant independently and at his/her expense in full.
12.5. The legal representative of a minor Participant bears full responsibility for the life and health of the Participant at all stages of the Games. An adult Participant is solely responsible for his/her life and health.
12.6. If the application is submitted by the team leader, the team leader guarantees that all the data submitted by him/her is agreed upon with the team members or their legal representatives.
